KS1 Teacher - Full-Time - Primary School - Chester area, Cheshire

Location: Chester area, Cheshire
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £130 - £160 (potential to move to MPS dependent on role)
Start Date: ASAP / Next Term
Key Stage: KS1 (Year 1 or Year 2)

The Role
Academics is working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Chester area, Cheshire to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a school that places a strong emphasis on early learning, pupil wellbeing and inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS1 class and play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that supports strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and social development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports early learning and development
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate
You will:
? Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
? Have experience as a KS1 teacher (ECTs welcome)
? Be passionate about early years and primary education
? Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
? Be enthusiastic, reliable and a strong team player
