Key Responsibilities - KS1 Teacher

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership teams
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Contribute to the wider life of the school communityRequirements - What We Are Looking For

Essential Criteria

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes
Good classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
