Long Term Futures are recruiting for a patient, resilient and passionate Teaching Assistant who can provide support in across Key Stage 1 classrooms for a welcoming and caring school based in Handsworth, Birmingham, accessible from Birmingham City Centre. This position is a long-term role and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to be made permanent. Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development Assist with targeted interventions in Phonics, Maths and Reading Provide occasional PPA cover, leading the class in the absence of the teacher Reinforce learning across a range of subjects through small group and 1:1 support Encouraging focus, confidence and positivity Advise and support in creating a calm learning environment Reinforcing learning by assisting with a range of subjects Ideal Candidate Profile:
