KS2 Class Teacher – Supply teaching role

Location: Grimsby & Surrounding Areas

Role Type: Flexible (Monday-Friday)

Pay: £135–£170 per day

Are you a confident and enthusiastic KS2 teacher who loves inspiring learners across Key Stage 2?

Reed Education are seeking a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher for a full-time 4-week placement during the Summer Term in one of our welcoming partner primary schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where high expectations, positive relationships, and pupil wellbeing are at the heart of daily practice. You’ll be teaching an engaging KS2 class, delivering pre-planned lessons, and ensuring continuity of learning as the academic year comes to a close.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality, pre-planned lessons to a KS2 class

• Maintaining consistent routines and strong behaviour expectations

• Creating a positive, structured and engaging classroom environment

• Supporting pupils across the full KS2 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and wider subjects

• Encouraging pupils’ independence, confidence and resilience

• Confident, adaptable, and able to step smoothly into a new classroom

• Passionate about supporting KS2 pupils academically and emotionally

• Skilled at building quick rapport with pupils and staff

• Able to deliver lessons confidently from existing planning

• Positive, proactive, and committed to safeguarding

What You’ll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• KS2 teaching experience (any year group welcome)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
