A welcoming, community-focused primary school in Kings Heath is seeking an experienced Year 4 Teacher to cover maternity leave from 27th April.

This is a full-time role with full classroom responsibility, including planning, preparation, delivery and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for a Year 4 class
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
Assess, track and report on pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom
Work collaboratively within the KS2 teamEssential

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
ECT induction completed
UK teaching qualification
Recent UK primary classroom experience
Experience teaching within KS2
Strong behaviour management
Commitment to raising attainmentOnly candidates with UK qualifications and UK teaching experience will be considered. Overseas applicants without UK QTS and UK classroom experience will not be shortlisted.
