Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 National Curriculum for Years 3 to 6, teaching core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, and supporting pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and scientific skills. You will be expected to keep accurate records, use assessment information effectively to track progress and prepare pupils for statutory assessments. A key part of the role involves adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, EAL, and SEMH requirements. While also working collaboratively with colleagues such as Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, senior leaders, parents and carers to ensure strong pupil outcomes.
