Teach Now is proud to partner with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Barking and Dagenham, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their vibrant teaching team. This full-time, temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the learning journey of pupils aged 7–11.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll take the lead in delivering creative and engaging lessons that challenge and motivate pupils. You will be working in a well-resourced school that values inclusion, collaboration, and academic excellence. This role is ideal for experienced educators and confident ECTs who are committed to making a lasting difference in a diverse and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver outstanding lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs

• Promote positive behaviour and uphold high standards across the classroom

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and leadership to support student success

Requirements
• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience or strong understanding of KS2 teaching practices

• A creative, adaptable, and reflective approach to teaching

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
