Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teacher (Autism) - April 2026 Start Location: Birmingham Role: Full Time, Long-Term Year Group: Year 7 (working at KS2 level) Requirement: QTS & SEN experience essential
Academics are currently working with a welcoming SEN school in East Birmingham who are seeking a dedicated Full-Time SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2026.
This role is within a Year 7 class where pupils are working at a KS2 level and the cohort primarily consists of students with Autism. The school is looking for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs to thrive both academically and socially.
The Ideal Teacher Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Proven experience working with children with Autism or within an SEN setting Strong behaviour management and a nurturing, adaptable teaching style The ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs A calm, supportive approach and a genuine passion for inclusive educationWhat the School Offers:
