L2/3 Nursery Practitioner

We're recruiting for a welcoming, high-quality nursery located in a village near Northampton. Own transport essential due to limited public transport.
Room Leader / Supervisor
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: Up to £14/hour (negotiable)
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise room staff daily
Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities
Act as Key Person for a group of children
Observe, assess, and track children's progress
Maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment
Support opening/closing procedures
Liaise with SENCO, parents, and external agencies
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and nursery policies
Attend meetings, training, and nursery events
What We're Looking For
Level 3+ Early Years qualification (essential)
Leadership and communication skills
Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
Supervisory/senior practitioner experience (desirable)
Professional, confident approach
Own vehicle required
Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)
Contract: Permanent | All Year Round
Hours:
Full-time: 4 days/week, 8am–6pm
Part-time: 3 days/week, 8am–6pm
Salary: National Minimum Wage (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
Support children aged 0–5 with learning and development
Create a safe, nurturing environment
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
What We're Looking For
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous nursery experience preferred
Caring, reliable, professional approach
Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
Own vehicle required
Commitment to year-round hours
