Land Ceptor Systems Engineer - Requirements
At MBDA, our Land Ceptor Systems Engineering team is expanding to support the British and Polish Armies in fulfilling the full potential of the system, as well as extending and tailoring capabilities for existing and emerging export contracts. We are seeking a Systems Engineer, Requirements, within the Functional Development team, to be involved in:
- Helping the customer understand and capture their needs;
- Deriving suitable system, subsystem, and software requirements to meet these needs;
- Informing product line approaches to develop a common suite of products for different customer requirements;
- Managing processes and procedures to control changes effectively;
- Acting as the customer for specific software items;
Essential requirements include:
- Experience in requirements management and derivation, ideally in defense;
- Experience with system engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORS NG, or Rhapsody;
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers;
- Experience in engineering change control and management;
- Ability to initiate and drive trade studies and system development activities;
- Experience in developing complex defense systems;
- Strong communication skills for architectures and ideas at all levels;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills;
- Experience working with product lines is beneficial.

Salary: Up to £57,000 depending on experience
Working arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)
Security clearance: British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship; successful candidates will undergo BPSS checks.
