Large Loss / Catastrophic Injury Associate – Manchester – Up to £58,000An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team within a multi-award-winning national law firm.The team handles complex, high-value personal injury claims for insurers and commercial clients, working on matters involving serious and life-changing injuries across motor, employer’s liability and public liability claims.Due to continued growth, the firm is looking for an Associate Solicitor to support large loss litigation and play a key role in delivering strategic defence work on complex cases.The RoleAssist on a varied caseload of high-value catastrophic injury and large loss claimsConduct liability investigations and quantum analysis on multi-track mattersTake witness statements, review medical evidence and manage evidential documentationPrepare case reports and client updates in line with insurer SLA requirementsSupport court hearings, CMCs and pre-trial preparationDraft legal documents including applications, pleadings and client adviceWork closely with partners on complex litigation strategySupport the development of strong insurer and commercial client relationshipsAbout YouA qualified solicitor with experience in personal injury litigationIdeally experienced in defendant catastrophic injury or large loss workConfident managing complex and high-value casesHighly organised with strong drafting, analytical and case management skillsComfortable working to deadlines and insurer reporting requirementsCommercially aware and interested in developing client relationshipsA collaborative team player with strong attention to detailCandidates with claimant catastrophic injury experience and transferable skills are also encouraged to applyWhat’s on OfferSalary up to £58,000, depending on experience25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, with the option to purchase additional leaveBirthday leaveHybrid and flexible working arrangementsClear career progression opportunities within a leading national teamA supportive environment with strong partner mentorshipExcellent training and professional developmentApply in the strictest of confidence online and or via telephone – there is no need for a CV for an initial conversation.Contact Danielle Lawton Retained ConsultantEmail: Danielle.Lawton@williamjamesrecruitment.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
