Laser Operator Competitive + Benefits + bonus Welwyn Garden City Monday - Friday 6am-2pm gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Laser Operator to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City Performance Objectives Understanding of 2D & 3D laser cutting programmes using Tru-Tops 3D software (knowledge of Boost software an advantage) Create nesting for laser cutting using Tru-Tops software Operating a Trumph Tru Cell 7040 laser (or equivalent) Load programmes /laser set up Set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance Report any maintenance issues to Line Manager Ensure all jigs and fixtures are stored correctly and are in calibration Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements. Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant inspection plans to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations. Ensure that components identified as non-conforming during in process inspection are identified and communicated in accordance with the Non-Conformance Procedure. Person Specification ...
