Job Description

A leading provider of innovative laser systems to help people in various global markets, including but not limited to renewables, microelectronics, research, life science, automotive, and medicine.

We are seeking a Laser Systems Engineer to work on the assembly and production of laser systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

Assembly and test of production products, including optic/laser alignment, fault diagnosis, result monitoring and analysis. Final optical assembly of advanced laser products. Optical alignment and test of advanced laser products. Laser set up using sophisticated optical techniques. Laser calibration using electronic control. Improve laser build documentation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree or equivalent in a laser science or related subject or equivalent knowledge gained through working in a laser production environment. Experience in aligning and testing opto-electronic/laser equipment. Strong innovation, analytical, and diagnostic skills. Knowledge and experience of quality control/process improvement methods. Excellent communication skills, in particular verbal skills, to keep the team up to date with progress. Ability to work as part of a team. Able to work to deadlines.
