What Youll Be Doing
Designing and delivering a dynamic, varied activity programme tailored to individual needs and interests
Leading engaging sessions including arts, music, gentle exercise, and themed events
Supporting residents with dementia and cognitive impairments through meaningful, structured activities
Creating an environment that encourages interaction, confidence, and enjoyment
Building links with local communities, entertainers, and volunteers to elevate the programme
Working closely with care teams to ensure a person-centred approach
Monitoring participation and maintaining accurate activity records
Ensuring all activities are delivered safely and in line with care standards
What Were Looking For
Experience in activities coordination, senior care, or a similar environment
A confident, outgoing personality someone who can walk into a room and lift it instantly
Experience or understanding of dementia / Alzheimers care (highly desirable)
Strong organisational and communication skills
A creative mindset with the ability to think beyond the usual activities
A genuinely caring nature with patience, empathy, and energy
