Lead Architect – Data Security Fabric (DSF)

We are seeking an experienced Lead SME to our client in delivering a critical programme. The project involves building a new AWS-hosted Thales Data Security Fabric (DSF) production platform and securely onboarding on-premise PostgreSQL databases in 2026.
Thales DSF is used as an ETL solution to filter and deduplicate database activity monitoring events, exporting selected data to AWS S3 in support of IDAM controls. The programme includes the build of new AWS IaaS infrastructure and large-scale database onboarding to a dedicated DSF production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own end-to-end technical delivery of the new DSF production platform.
* Act as the DSF Subject Matter Expert across infrastructure build and onboarding activities.
* Lead the build of new AWS-hosted IaaS components, including gateway servers and data warehouse infrastructure, ensuring alignment with existing architectural patterns (patching, testing, documentation).
* Oversee secure onboarding of on-prem PostgreSQL databases, including integration with DSF gateways and validation of audit log ingestion (PGAudit).
* Ensure successful data flow into the data warehouse and onward export to AWS S3.
* Provide technical leadership across Postgres and PGaudit implementation.
This is a high-impact role within a time-critical programme, requiring strong AWS infrastructure experience, deep knowledge of PostgreSQL/PGAudit, and proven expertise with Thales DSF or similar data security platforms.
