Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer\n\n8-month initial contract\n\nHybrid working - Gaydon\n\n£33.88ph (Inside IR35), 40 hrs pw\n\n*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*\n\nAbout the company\n\nI am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer to join their team\n\nJob Description\n\nAs Lead Audio Validation & Test Engineer, your main responsibilities include:\n\nHands-on testing of automotive infotainment systems, with a strong focus on active NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) technologies at both system and subsystem levels.\nTaking ownership of test delivery and driving results, through rigorous validation and problem-solving.\nPlan and execute test programmes for infotainment systems, particularly those involving active NVH technologies.\nEnsure all testing is aligned with automotive quality standards and specifications.\nIdentify issues and drive improvements in system and subsystem performance.\nDefine and apply testing specifications for new and existing infotainment components. \n\nQualifications/Skills needed\n\nStrong background in testing automotive infotainment systems, ideally with experience in active NVH technologies.\nExecution-focused approach with the ability to manage and deliver test programmes independently.\nProficient in debugging and analysis.\nExperience with audio systems and rig setup for validation.\nExcellent documentation and communication skills.\nFull UK driving licence required. \n\nWhy work through Contechs?\n\nContechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
