We design, engineer, and support AV and collaboration technology solutions that deliver real business value and exceptional user experiences.Currently we have a new opportunity to join the talented operational service delivery team at Kinly; where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects; have the chance use the latest technologies; operate in a highly collaborative environment, undertake impactful assignments and have a company/team committed to personal and career development.By joining this team, you'll be embarking on a journey of growth, innovation, and impact and we invite you to be part of our mission to create extraordinary solutions and experiences for our clients.Working as the Lead Audio Visual (AV) Commissioning Engineer you will take ownership of the commissioning process for complex AV and Unified Communications (UC) systems, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.As a technical leader, you will work closely with project managers, design engineers, and installation teams to verify, test, and optimise integrated AV systems across a variety of environments, including corporate, education, and public sector spaces.Key Responsibilities:Lead the commissioning of AV and UC systems, ensuring full compliance with design specifications and client expectationsPerform detailed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including system calibration, configuration and final tuningTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues across AV, control, network and DSP systems to ensure optimal system performanceProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior commissioning engineers and installation teamsDeliver end-user training and system handovers when requiredCollaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and stay current with product developmentsSupport project managers in planning, scheduling and delivering projects on time and within scopeMaintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and system configurationsSkills & experience:Extensive hands-on experience commissioning AV systems from leading brands such as Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Cisco, Microsoft, Shure, Sennheiser, NEC, Poly and ZoomStrong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, DSP programming and networked AV solutionsProven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, project documentation and control codeExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressureGood understanding of IT networks and protocols relevant to AV systemsQualificationsRelevant technical qualifications in AV, electronics, or a related fieldIndustry certifications such as CTS with manufacture qualifications in Crestron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Microsoft Teams, Cisco are highly desirableProven experience in AV commissioningIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.If you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please either email jobs@kinly.com outlining your requirements; or you can view the vacancy via the Kinly page on Vercida which allows you to customise the content so that you can review in a way that works best for you.About KinlyKinly is the globally trusted AV and UCC technology advisor to world-class organisations.
