Role: Lead Consultant Technology: Oracle EBS Core HR, Career Development & Learning Functional Consultant Location: UK Business Unit: ORC Compensation: Competitive (including bonus) Job Description We're looking for an Oracle EBS HCM Core HR, Career Development & Learning Functional Consultant to support Core HR & Learning modules for UK public sector clients. You'll need expert knowledge of UK Core HR & Career Development processes and proven experience with Oracle Global Core HR & Career Development/Learning EBS, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences. As an Oracle EBS HCM Consultant, you'll be instrumental in providing impactful solutions to our clients. Your focus will be on the implementation and ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically UK Core HR & Career Development and Learning for the UK public sector. You’ll need a deep understanding of all UK Core HR & Career Development, Pension, and Learning processes, backed by practical experience with Oracle Global Core HR & Career Development/Learning EBS in the UK public sector. You’ll also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You’ll guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance. Responsibilities
Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle EBS HCM, specifically focusing on UK Core HR & Career Development & Learning modules for UK clients. Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of UK Core HR & Career Development, Pension, and Learning processes. Apply hands‑on experience in Oracle Global Core HR & Career Development/Learning EBS, particularly within the UK public sector. Communicate effectively with others; lead and assist in troubleshooting and resolving functional problems. Be well versed in the support process & ensure complete ownership. Resolve tickets within the SLA. Obtain transition from incumbent vendor. Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Core HR & Career Development Batch Loader. Effectively discuss complex technology solutions to diverse audiences, including technical, business, and management teams; walkthrough of Business Process Specification documents, Configuration Workbooks, Testing, Change Requests. Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR & Career Development, Learning and other relevant modules. Apply comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Conference Room pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, training content preparation, and imparting training.
Required
Minimum 12+ years of experience in implementation of Oracle EBS HCM for Core HR & Career Development modules for UK. Proficiency in all UK Core HR & Career Development, Pension and Learning Processes. Hands‑on experience working on Oracle Global Core HR & Career Development/Learning EBS for UK public sector clients. Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Core HR & Career Development Batch Loader. Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams – technical, business and management. Ability to lead discussions with customer teams for integrations, tickets and reports related to Core HR & Career Development and Learning and other modules. Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle. Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
Preferred
Excellent planner for release planning and other delivery planning. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, with experience managing 5+ team members. Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
