Head of Product Design | Premium Consumer Platform | £100–120k + bonus


We’re working with a design-led, consumer-facing digital platform to hire a Head of Product Design.

The business operates at scale across international markets and has built a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail and a highly engaged customer community. It sits firmly in the premium end of its category, with a product experience that blends performance, aesthetics and lifestyle in a way that resonates deeply with its audience.

They’re now entering a new phase focused on evolving the experience, unlocking new commercial opportunities and strengthening how design contributes to both product and brand.


The role


  • You’ll work closely with product, engineering, data and commercial teams to shape how design drives both customer experience and business performance.
  • There’s real momentum internally to move faster, work more iteratively and bring teams closer together. Design is expected to play a central role in that, influencing how ideas are shaped, tested and brought to market.
  • You’ll lead a small team while staying actively involved in the work, setting direction while contributing to delivery.


What you’ll be doing


  • Leading design across key product areas, maintaining a high bar for quality, consistency and craft
  • Shaping experiences that reflect a premium, design-led brand while improving usability and accessibility
  • Translating customer behaviour and insight into clear product opportunities
  • Partnering with product and engineering to move quickly from concept through to launch
  • Identifying opportunities to improve conversion, engagement and retention across a B2C platform
  • Using data and experimentation to inform decisions and refine the experience
  • Evolving design systems and ways of working to support scale and consistency
  • Mentoring and developing designers while remaining close to the detail


What they’re looking for


  • Strong end-to-end product design experience within a B2C environment
  • A track record of delivering measurable impact across core product metrics
  • A sharp eye for visual quality and an understanding of how brand and product interact
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering in fast-moving teams
  • Confidence operating at a senior level while staying hands-on
  • Strong product thinking with an appreciation of commercial drivers

  • £100,000–£120,000 base
