Our global financial services client is looking for a senior corporate communications professional with substantial and demonstrable experience running corporate B2B social channels to join their communications team. The role will be responsible for corporate social media strategy and governance, ensuring social channels support the commercial and reputational objectives of the business across various geographies.


In this key role you will –


  • Lead, manage and mentor the social media team
  • Design and disseminate strategy, governance and guidelines to in-country teams
  • Manage the relationship with all relevant local market social media managers
  • Monitor and report on the performance of social channels & adjust the strategy as required
  • Lead on reputational and regulatory risk management
  • Collaborate with operational leadership and the wider communications and marketing teams


For this leadership role, we’re looking for someone with exceptionally strong strategic leadership expertise in social channels and content gained within large corporates and preferably regulated markets – ideally but not necessarily within financial services. You’ll have lead on the governance and operations of social as part of a wider corporate communications function.


This isn’t a content or marketing role, and we’re looking for someone with B2B corporate experience rather than B2C.


The role offered on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days/week in the City offices
