You will ensure goals are met by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost control.\n\nYour role includes delegated authority and accountability for upholding minimum standards within the discipline. It may also involve acting as a design review assessor, ensuring designs meet required technical and regulatory expectations.\n\nCore duties:\n\nPrepare specifications, develop compliant designs, and appraise them to ensure all technical and quality standards.\n\nParticipate fully in developing, maintaining, and modifying Electrical Systems\n\nAct as primary contact with customers and suppliers, resolving engineering issues and aligning priorities.\n\nMake engineering strategies within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.\n\nEssential Skills:\n\nExperience in managing/designing electrical disciplines such as Low Voltage (LV) distribution, LV protection Systems, Earthing systems, Converted supplies, Portable apparatus and domestic supplies.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings / schematic drawings\n\nPossesses team, Customer and Suppler management skills\n\nDegree‑qualified in a steam‑related discipline and working toward, or achieving, Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status through a recognised professional institution.\n\nThe Hunter Class Electrical Team:\n\nThe Electrical team within Hunter Class Frigate UK is responsible for delivering Electrical systems design to meet Warship design requirement.
