Role: Lead Electrical Integration Engineer
Location: Plymouth(hybrid/remote)
Duration: 12 months(possible for extension)
Rate: £80/hour

Lead Electrical Integration Engineer

Lead Electrical Integration Engineer to support the design of integrated cross-site services. The focus of this role will be supporting the engineering capability of the new systems through design phases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as Electrical Discipline lead for the project
  • Collaboration across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfaces
  • Collate and prioritise technical design issues
  • Undertake coordination activities to ensure a fully integrated facility design
  • Identify scope gaps and support resolution
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Package Technical Leads
  • Report on project status to Head of Department
  • Lead as intelligent customer on discrete packages of work

Experience

  • Highly regulated environment (essential)
  • Electrical engineering background, preferably power distribution (essential)
  • Knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards (essential) (i.e. BS 7671, BS EN 60204, BS EN 62305, BS EN 61000)
  • Major infrastructure projects (desirable)
  • Nuclear (desirable)

Expectations

  • UK national, able to get SC (can start on BPSS)
  • Degree qualified chartered engineer (or significant relevant experience)
  • Location: Plymouth (hybrid)
  • Duration: Long term (12mths+)
