Lead Electrical Bias Engineer
Location: London
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Our client, a well-established organisation based in London, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Engineer to join their engineering team in a lead capacity. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong electrical maintenance experience and the ability to provide technical leadership on site.
The Role:
As a Lead Electrical Bias Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance of the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory requirements. You will also act as the main point of contact for electrical issues and support the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
*
Fault finding and repair on electrical systems and equipment
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and electrical regulations
*
Act as the lead engineer for electrical services on site
*
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors when required
*
Support and guide other engineers with electrical issues
*
Complete maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in an electrical or electrical bias maintenance role
*
Strong background in building services or facilities maintenance
*
Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations ()
*
Experience with lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution systems
*
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
