Lead Nurse / ODP Endoscopy

Salary: £47,000

Location:Bristol

Hours:37.5 hours per week (4 days, 8am6pm)

Contract:Full-time, Permanent

The Role

As Lead Nurse / ODP, youll be the driving force behind the delivery of a safe, effective, and patient-focused endoscopy service.

You will:

  • Lead, support, and inspire a multidisciplinary team
  • Act as a visible and approachable clinical leader
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Drive continuous improvement and service development
  • Support staff training, development, and performance
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

About You

To succeed in this role, youll bring both clinical expertise and confident leadership.

You will have:

  • NMC registration(Nurse) orHCPC registration(ODP)
  • Significant experience within an Endoscopy setting
  • Leadership experience atBand 7 level(or equivalent)
  • A strong commitment to patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm, resilient, and decisive under pressure
  • A passion for continuous improvement and team development
