Lead Estimator - 95% office based. A leading international engineering business is seeking a talented Lead Estimator (Pipework) to join their growing UK-based team. This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact estimates, quotations, and proposals for bespoke pipework systems - both loose product supply and prefabricated solutions - across a wide range of industries.

So any candidate who has been a design engineer, project engineer, commercial quotation / drawing related would be a good fit. \n \nWhat You'll Be Doing \n- Lead on Technical Estimating Tasks \n- Manage the flow of enquiries for estimates, take-offs, and technical drawing requests \n- Produce accurate, competitive quotes and supporting technical documentation \n- Support Sales and Customers \n- Provide guidance and support to internal sales teams and end customers \n- Use CAD and design tools to create concept designs and material take-offs \n- Work with various pipework materials and systems to meet client specifications \n- Liaise with design engineers, sales managers, contractors, and suppliers \n- Reach out to global resources when required to meet proposal deadlines \n \nWhat We're Looking For \n- Experience in engineering / construction design is essential, pipework experience would be highly desirable.\n- Strong commercial awareness and ability to create competitive proposals \n- Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools for design and take-offs \n- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and self-manage \n- A collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and technical accuracy \n \nHours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days
