Our client is part of a global group, a leader in their field! Following continued growth within their engineering team, they are now seeking a Lead Facilities Engineer to join their days team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Support all site-wide facilities maintenance
Maintain and repair chillers, steam systems, boilers, plumbing, pipework, and minor building works
Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and day‑to‑day coordination
Manage external contractors by scheduling work, overseeing delivery, and ensuring all tasks meet required standards
Maintain full compliance and safety, including required training
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Strong background in compliance, with confidence in following and implementing SOPs
Proven experience managing and coordinating contractors on-site
Solid health & safety knowledge with a track record of maintaining high standards
Experience in manufacturing is ideal, though strong candidates from other technical or industrial environments will be considered
