Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Functional Architect to lead enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. This role requires a strong mix of business process expertise and technical understanding, ensuring that system improvements deliver measurable value to warehouse and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Enhancement Own functional design for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS upgrades and enhancements. Analyze existing configurations and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability. Define functional specifications for new features, integrations, and performance tuning. Stakeholder Engagement Conduct workshops with business teams to capture evolving requirements. Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions. Technical Collaboration Work closely with developers and integration teams on APIs, microservices, and carrier integrations (e.g., Metapack). Validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with architecture standards. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and system performance improvements. Support testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS (functional and technical). Strong understanding of warehouse operations and retail supply chain processes. Experience in solution architecture, functional design, and system integration. Familiarity with MOCA architecture, APIs, and microservices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working in consulting environments delivering WMS solutions. Strong background with retail clients, including omni-channel and e-commerce operations. Exposure to automation technologies (AMRs, conveyors). Certifications: Blue Yonder WMS, Agile Project Management.
