Lead Grounds Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Wisbech based, travel required to various client sitesHours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)Salary: £30,000 per annumStart Time: 5:45am (early morning start)Overtime: Paid after 8 hours per dayRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Grounds Maintenance Technician to oversee and support a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across multiple client sites.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for organising daily workloads, maintaining high standards, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. You will lead by example, working alongside your team while ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a professional standard.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, organise, and supervise a small team dailyEnsure all scheduled work is completed efficiently and to a high standardCarry out general grounds maintenance duties, including:Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and lawn careHedge cutting, pruning, and weed controlLitter picking and site clearanceOperate machinery including triple gang mowersCarry out sports line marking where requiredEnsure full compliance with company policies and site rulesMaintain high standards of safety, presentation, and behaviourBuild and maintain strong relationships with clientsEnsure tools and equipment are used correctly and maintainedComplete all required paperwork accurately and on timeAttend training sessions and meetings as requiredRequirementsFull UK driving licence (essential)Trailer experience (required)PA1 & PA6 certifications (required)Proven experience in a grounds maintenance or landscaping roleExperience operating triple gang mowers (essential)Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPhysically fit and capable of manual workStrong attention to detail and ability to lead by exampleReliable, organised, and proactiveAdditional InformationEnhanced DBS check required before startingEarly morning starts and travel between sitesHands-on role combining leadership and practical workOvertime available daily after 8 hoursWe endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time but if you havent heard back within 10 days, please understand that you have unfortunately been unsuccessful for this position, or the position has been filled.JBRP1_UKTJ
