Lead Maintenance Engineer

Due to over 6 million pounds worth of investment into this plastics manufacturing business in Tamworth we are looking for three maintenance engineers to enhance the current team. With a change in shift pattern and going from a very reactive maintenance operation we are looking for engineers to embed a continuous improvements culture, and proactive maintenance response.
Over the next 12 months there are plans to bring in new equipment and several refurbishment projects to get involved in, its a great time to join the business and really get your voice heard.
Working a Suez pattern consisting of 5 on 5 off mix of days and nights you will get a great work life balance with one long weekend Friday, Saturday Sunday and one full weekend off every month. The roles are new roles to the business created to enhance the proactivity of the current team this will take the engineering team to 14.
Ideally you will come from a manufacturing or FMCG background, we are happy to talk to both Mechanically & Electrically bias Engineers.
The role of a Maintenance Engineer:
Day to day maintenance of the machinery & facilitys
Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.
Where required assist with the installation and implementation of projects.
