Role Overview
We're looking for a Manufacturing Simulation Engineer to lead the development of Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models for manufacturing systems. You'll analyse production flow, identify bottlenecks, optimise throughput, and support major vehicle or system programmes from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Build, develop, and deliver Discrete Event Simulation models that represent full manufacturing process flow from concept to launch. Analyse production performance, throughput, cycle time, buffer sizes, and system availability. Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve system efficiency. Optimise manufacturing systems using DES 'what-if' scenarios and operational variants. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, production, and scheduling teams to ensure system readiness.
