Lead / Senior Portfolio Analyst - £475 - £500 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working from a site near Derby - 6 Months initial contract with the opportunity to go permanent.

My client, a global engineering company, is seeking an experienced Lead Portfolio Analyst to support the oversight and performance management of a complex IT project portfolio. This role sits within the PMO and will focus on portfolio governance, financial management, performance reporting, and continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience working across multiple IT projects (e.g. ERP, cloud, infrastructure or digital transformation) and be highly comfortable analysing and presenting portfolio data. Advanced Excel skills are highly desireable, as the role involves building dashboards, analysing portfolio performance, and producing reporting for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities - Support the management and oversight of a large IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
