We have partnered with a leading London insurance organisation to recruit a Technical Lead Actuary for their Syndicate Capital team. This is a high-impact role overseeing capital model reviews and shaping market-wide capital standards.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and challenge syndicate capital model reviews, including annual submissions and major model changes.
Provide expert guidance on complex capital modelling issues and support senior leadership in decision-making.
Engage with senior stakeholders across syndicates, regulators, and internal committees to communicate findings.
Collaborate with underwriting, exposure, and reserving teams to ensure aligned and effective oversight.
Contribute to innovation in capital methodologies and lead key projects.
Mentor junior actuaries and promote technical excellence across the team.
