OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Lead U16s – U9s Academy Analyst to play a central role in supporting the Academy Mission and Objectives through the delivery of world-class analysis within the Youth Development (YDP) and Foundation Phases (FP).This role will lead the programme for the U16s age group and support the analysis provision across U15s – U9s, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) to positively impact player development.Key ResponsibilitiesActively contribute to the U16s multi-disciplinary team by developing, monitoring, and reviewing both team and individual KPIs throughout the season.Provide tailored support to player development processes, ensuring individualised approaches in collaboration with the MDT.Mentor and support YDP and FP age group analysts, measuring the effectiveness of age group plans and individual learning plans (ILPs).Lead the scaffolding of analysis provision within the U16s and ensure alignment across U15s – U9s.Capture, code, and visualise video and data using best practice methods.Deliver high-quality reports and presentations to coaches and players, enabling ongoing reflection and development.Contribute to the Academy student learning programme, supporting staff with video coding and presentation skills.Engage in continued professional development and share insights with the wider team.Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding across all Academy activity.Essential RequirementsPrevious experience working as an academy analyst (or similar) within sport.Experience supporting or mentoring analysts in data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.Proficiency in Apple Mac, Microsoft Office, and Hudl hardware/software.Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis or Sports Coaching.UEFA C Coaching Qualification.FA Talent ID Level 1 Qualification.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage players and coaches.High levels of empathy, care, and emotional intelligence when working with young players.Excellent eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills.Desirable Criteria2+ years’ experience as an academy analyst (or similar) in football.Experience with Tableau, Power BI, R, or Python for data analysis and visualisation.UEFA B Coaching Qualification.FA Talent ID Level 2 Qualification.Strong understanding of elite sporting environments and their demands.A naturally curious approach to the evolving world of football insights.Application Deadline: 12th September 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
