The Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established national training provider with over 20 years of success delivering apprenticeships, government-funded programmes and professional qualifications across the UK.

With an outstanding reputation for learner and employer satisfaction, the organisation delivers Skills Bootcamps, Adult Skills Fund programmes, apprenticeships and digital career pathways — supporting thousands of learners each year to access meaningful, long-term employment opportunities.

Due to continued growth across funded provision, they are now seeking an experienced and driven Learner Engagement Manager to lead and scale their candidate attraction function.

The Role

This is a high-impact leadership position within the Training division.

You will take ownership of the learner engagement strategy across Skills Bootcamps and Adult Skills Fund programmes — leading from the front to drive learner starts, performance and regional growth.

Working closely with Marketing, Quality, Funding and Operations, you will ensure attraction activity is commercially focused, compliant and aligned to contractual delivery targets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded engagement leader who thrives in performance-led environments and enjoys building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and performance-manage the Learner Engagement team
  • Drive learner starts across Skills Bootcamps and Adult Skills Fund programmes
  • Deliver against KPIs, budgets and contractual performance targets
  • Work with Marketing to plan, optimise and test attraction campaigns
  • Collaborate with Quality and Funding teams to ensure compliance and high standards
  • Support regional growth plans and funded contract delivery
  • Develop team capability through coaching, training and structured development
  • Contribute to operational and strategic leadership discussions
  • Lead and support cross-functional business improvement projects

About You

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in learner recruitment, candidate attraction or engagement
  • A strong track record of delivering performance through teams
  • Experience working to KPIs and exceeding targets
  • Confident stakeholder management across multiple internal functions
  • Experience supporting or developing attraction content and campaigns
  • Experience within Work-Based Learning or Government-Funded Training
  • You will be commercially aware, performance-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced funded environment.
