The Vacancy
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join us as a Learning & Development Apprentice on a two-year contract. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you build your skills and contribute to creating meaningful learning experiences across our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the planning and delivery of training sessions and development programmes.
  • Help maintain accurate employee records and assist with reporting.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and update HR and Learning and Development systems.
  • Respond to basic queries from employees about training and development opportunities.
  • Assist with taking clear and confidential notes during HR meetings, such as investigations or employee relations discussions.
  • Work closely with the HR team to support wider people initiatives including recruitment support when required.

    What we are looking for
  • Interest in a career in Learning and Development.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally, including completing the Level 3 Learning and Development Practitioner Apprenticeship.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexibly and as a member of a team.
  • Previous experience as an administrator or qualifications in administration are desirable.

  • 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year and 1 wellbeing day per annum.
  • 37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at CHP.
