At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Learning Coach Scaffolding Apprenticeships to join their expanding team based in Manchester, with flexibility to manage your own diary and travel to learner and employer sites when required.
This is a full-time permanent position working 37 hours per week, with part time applications also considered. You will play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and assessing apprentices working towards the Level 2 Scaffolding standard, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed.
You will work closely with employers and colleagues to ensure learning is effectively applied in the workplace, while supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
What you will be doing: • Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, carrying out regular reviews and interventions • Deliver coaching, mentoring, and teaching sessions in both workplace and classroom environments • Support apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours in line with the apprenticeship standard • Embed math’s and English into delivery to support learner achievement • Develop individual learning plans based on initial assessment and employer input • Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications • Plan and prepare learners for end point assessment • Engage and build strong relationships with employers, providing regular progress updates • Identify barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs • Ensure all evidence for learning, achievement and funding is recorded accurately and on time • Work closely with internal quality teams to maintain high standards of delivery • Produce reports in line with performance targets and organisational requirements • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials
What we are looking for: • Occupational experience within scaffolding and relevant qualifications at Level 2 or above • Experience delivering training, coaching, or mentoring in a practical environment • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive sessions that meet learner needs • Ability to plan, organise and manage workloads effectively • Experience supporting learner progress and achievement • A proactive approach to improving learner engagement and performance • Customer focused with the ability to build strong employer relationships
Desirable: • Teaching or coaching qualification • Assessor qualification such as TAQA, A1 or equivalent • Knowledge of government funded training programmes • Experience delivering scaffolding training as a competent instructor • Experience within apprenticeship delivery
Qualifications: Functional Skills Level 2 in English and math’s or willingness to work towards ICT skills or equivalent would be beneficial
