Job Description- The Role
The LI&R team (within People Solutions) aims to provide our learners with the best possible learning experience, the team is responsible for ensuring that our learning programmes are delivered effectively, from strategy through to implementation and evaluation.
On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a Learning Implementation and Reporting Course Manager for a 6 Month contract based within one of our UK offices (Preferred Locations of Manchester of London Ideally) , on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.
Join us as a Learning Implementation and Reporting Course Manager
The Course Manager sits within our LI&R team and works with the team leaders to ensure that learning interventions are delivered effectively from the design phase, through to implementation and evaluations.
What you'll do:
Project manage all stages of the learning design life cycle for individual L&D programmes. This will involve ensuring all programmes are effectively running, or seeking new solutions to improve the programmes
Accountable for project initiation, budget control, project management, risk management and reporting
Work closely with other L&D teams to ensure all planned activity is implemented and achieved
Implement tutor briefings ahead of the L&D programmes
Agree scope of work and final sign off with third party suppliers; overseeing relationships with third party suppliers ensuring service and quality is sustained, to agreed Service Level Agreements
Be the escalation point for programme queries and risks, and work with the team lead as needed
Support the Course Executive to draft implementation project plans and ensure all logistical requirements to run the programme are clearly defined, this enabling the implementation team to work effectively
Coach and supervise more junior members of the learning experience team
The skills you'll need:
Previous experience working in a L&D programme delivery role within a similar organisation
Excellent project management, and risk management, budgetary (including ownership of multiple budgets and associated activities e.g. setting and monitoring) and organisational skills
Ability to build and develop good relationships at all levels
Some experience with coaching/supervision of more junior team members
Commercially orientated - keeping commercial aspects continually in mind
Communicate confidently and effectively
Good analytical skills.
An interest in learning design and delivery, and application of 70:20:10
