This could be the perfect stepping stone for you! As a SEMH Teaching assistant you will be working within schools to support student's emotional regulation and mental health. This could include creating coping mechanisms while completing work / learning or supporting the student to create methods of de-escalation. You will be creating a toolbox with the student to help them learn methods of coping and control over their emotions and feelings. This school is highly accommodating an understanding of the child's needs and is looking for someone who can support the child with their education and learning, mental health and well-being, socialisation and emotional regulation both inside and outside of the classroom.
