Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Secondary Schools (Merton) Full-time | 5 days per week | Term-time
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our inclusive and supportive secondary schools across the London Borough of Merton.
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference to young people's learning, confidence, and wellbeing.

The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN, both in and out of the classroom
Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to deliver tailored support
Help students stay engaged, motivated, and confident in their learning
Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is patient, caring, and resilient
Has a genuine interest in supporting young people in a secondary school setting
Can build positive relationships with students and staff
Is reliable, proactive, and keen to learn
Has previous school or SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
