This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a child’s journey into full-time education. The pupil is currently attending school on a part-time basis for a few hours each day, with a carefully planned transition into full-time attendance over the next four weeks.

You will be working one-to-one with a non-verbal pupil in Reception, supporting their communication, engagement and emotional regulation within the classroom environment.
During the initial transition period, when the child is not in school, you will:
Prepare tailored resources and learning materials
Support within other classrooms across the school

As the pupil transitions into full-time education, you will become their dedicated one-to-one support, helping them access learning, build routine and develop key life skills.
You will be:

Using communication strategies such as visual aids and sensory approaches
Supporting emotional regulation and engagement

Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

This is a meaningful, long-term opportunity where your impact will be seen every single day. You will play a vital role in supporting a child’s transition into full-time education, with ongoing training and development provided by both the school and Rising Hope Education.
The role will continue into the next academic year, offering stability, progression and the chance to truly embed yourself within a supportive school community.
