A supportive specialist school in Wigan is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join their team and provide essential support to pupils with a range of additional needs. This Learning Support Assistant (SEN) role comes with extensive training from a supportive and forward-thinking teaching team.
The Role - Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will support pupils throughout the school day, helping them engage with learning and develop key social and emotional skills.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks Supporting pupils with communication and emotional regulation Contributing to a safe and supportive learning environmentWhat's on Offer
