Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a friendly and hardworking special school team. Opportunities are available for an immediate start, as well as for transition support beginning in June for a new Year 5/6 provision.
The successful candidates will be flexible and confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within a classroom setting. A good standard of English, Maths and ICT skills is essential.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
This is a secondary special school setting supporting students aged 11–16 with a range of learning needs. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is committed to enabling every student to achieve their full potential and develop independence within their local community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
