Learning Support Assistant

We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants in the Walkden area, to work on a flexible basis, 2-5 days a week, starting ASAP!
What does a Graduate Learning Support Assistant do?
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs
* Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support
* Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey
* Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions
What will you need for this job?
* Based within a commutable distance to Walkden
* Clear desire to work with children and young people
* Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential. Experience working within care, fostering, tutoring, coaching are all desirable!
* Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school.
