Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established 2-form entry primary school in Slough that is seeking a committed and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils within the classroom across KS1 or KS2
• Work with small groups to reinforce literacy and maths skills
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils' social and emotional development

You may be required to support pupils with SEN, so previous experience in this area is highly beneficial.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in UK primary schools
• Has supported children with additional needs
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is patient, proactive, and reliable
• Can commit full-time on a long-term basis

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential if you have strong relevant experience.
