Learning Support Assistant - Chiswick, West London - SEN School - Full-Time - Jan Start - Temp to Perm

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming special needs school in Chiswick, supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) across both primary and secondary phases.

You will be working within small class sizes of approximately 5 pupils, supporting learning, development, and well-being in a highly structured and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a quick turnaround from temporary to permanent employment in a supportive and inclusive school community.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

Support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties in the classroom
Work closely with class teachers and other support staff
Assist with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Support pupils with personal, social, and emotional development
Contribute to a warm, safe, and inclusive learning environmentLearning Support Assistant Attributes:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (MLD preferred)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
