We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in South London, supporting learners aged 5-19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Every student has an EHCP, and the school prides itself on offering a warm, supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to grow both academically and personally.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30am-4:00pm Location: South London Start Date: ASAP

Who We're Looking For
We would love to hear from:
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Individuals with strong backgrounds supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs Candidates confident in behaviour management and delivering personalised support
Your Main Responsibilities
Support pupils with SEMH needs both in class and during wider school activities. Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and targeted interventions. Help maintain a calm, structured, and motivating classroom environment. Encourage confidence, resilience, independence, and personal growth. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support each child's development.
Essential Requirements
Previous SEN experience (in a school or relatable setting) A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us) Two recent employment references covering the past 24 months
