Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Wembley

Location: Wembley, North West London Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time

A welcoming and inclusive school in Wembley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across the classroom and help remove barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils in class, either one-to-one or in small groups

Assisting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs

Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support

Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation

Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Encouraging independence, engagement, and confidence in learners

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience)

A patient, caring, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
