Would you be confident with classroom-level AV support and maintenance? Could you be good at coaching teachers in classroom AV and educational software?
Take on a unique role, joining a prestigious education establishment in a picturesque area of West Kent in a Learning Technologist position as part of a growing IT team where your role would be a blend of AV support and maintenance, and teaching support.
If you have a good grasp of AV technology set-ups such as interactive boards, projectors, monitors, TVs, speakers and docking station set-ups, and can conduct AV maintenance on these this is the sort of technically capable skillset we are looking for, at school / education setting level (not at a more complex and large-scale performing arts level). You will need to be able to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during technical incidents and/or service interruptions.
You would also need to have excellent communication and inter-personal skills as you will be communicating technical matters to teaching staff, with a positive, service-orientated attitude. As you will be coaching and training teachers in the use of classroom AV and educational software, you will need to be patient, understanding of varying skill levels and be able to encourage and champion the use of education technology...
