Lease Advisory Manager

OverviewOur Lease Advisory Team plays a key role in managing and optimising our extensive property portfolio, as well as supporting NHS commissioners with lease transactions and events. As a Lease Advisory Manager, you will support the management of a portfolio of head lease and sub‑lease events, ensuring they are handled effectively, professionally, and in line with business needs. You'll manage individual lease events independently or with support from senior colleagues, ensuring that all activity is completed in a timely manner and that our operational sites remain protected. This is a varied and impactful role where you'll help shape how we manage leasehold interests across the organisation.ResponsibilitiesWork with senior colleagues to explore all options when concluding lease event negotiations, minimising risk and maximising opportunitiesCollaborate with property management and finance teams to ensure lease events are properly budgeted and managedManage and support transactions, securing the necessary internal approvalsProvide reporting on productivity and key performance indicatorsSupport data accuracy relating to lease events and property informationApply professional best practice to all aspects of your workIdentify opportunities to improve processes and ways of workingDeliver high‑quality service to internal and external customersManage budgets in line with forecasts (where appropriate)Ensure compliance with governance and professional standardsBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersQualificationsYou’ll bring a strong understanding of landlord and tenant law, lease interpretation, and strategic asset management. You're confident applying valuation principles to lease events and have experience negotiating rent reviews, break options, and lease renewals.Experience inspecting and measuring premises in line with RICS best practiceClear, confident communication skillsThe ability to present recommendations and secure internal approvalsA passion for data accuracy and high‑quality workEnthusiasm, determination, and a proactive approachExperience working in a busy, customer‑focused environmentA track record of driving improvements and efficienciesCultureAt NHS Property Services, our people are at the centre of everything we do.
