JOB DESCRIPTION

POST TITLE: Lecturer - Plumbing LOCATION: East London HOURS: 36 hours per week CONTRACT: Full Time SALARY:

Unqualified: £33,026 - £34,460 per annum Qualified: £36,803 - £47,114 per annumJOB PURPOSE: To deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Plumbing, supporting learners to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for progression within the construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, deliver and assess Plumbing courses up to Level 2 Teach both 16-18 learners and adult students Support, motivate and track learner progress Maintain a safe and effective classroom and workshop environment Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and embed this into teaching Participate in tutorials, assessments and learner reviews Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievementPERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

Substantial industry experience as a Plumber Level 3 Plumbing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent) Strong communication and organisational skills Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (Level 5)BENEFITS:
